Which Shopify plans include carrier-calculated shipping?
In short
Third-party carrier-calculated shipping (CCS) is included on the Shopify Advanced and Shopify Plus plans. Stores on the Shopify Grow plan can add it by paying an extra monthly fee or by switching to annual billing.

One setting to turn on first
Carrier-calculated shipping is available on Grow with an extra monthly fee, or by switching to annual billing. Turn it on, then install.
CCS is what lets apps like Shiptoall, and carrier accounts like UPS or FedEx, return live shipping rates to your checkout.
What carrier-calculated shipping does
Without CCS, Shopify checkout can only show the flat and weight-based rates you enter in Shipping settings, plus Shopify Shipping rates where available. With CCS, Shopify asks an external service for rates at the moment of checkout, using the cart contents and the customer’s address.
